Robotics at Brassavola
Robotics is still an uncommon curricular offering in Honduras. At Brassavola Bilingual School it is a formal class, taught progressively from Grade 4 through Grade 11 and built around real projects.
Students do not only learn technology. They build with it.
Beginning in Grade 4, students enter a progressive Robotics pathway that continues through Grade 11. Every stage combines electronics, mechanics and programming with challenges that require students to design, build, test and improve.
The goal is not to memorize isolated concepts. Students learn by creating working solutions, understanding why something fails, making adjustments and turning ideas into functioning prototypes.

Each project becomes a practical problem to solve. Students combine hardware, code, logic and teamwork to create something they can see, test and improve.

Codey Rocky
A hands-on platform for logic, sensors, interaction and programming that encourages experimentation and creativity.
Arduino / C++
As students progress, they write structured code to control hardware, process sensor data and automate behaviors.

Students strengthen computational thinking through readable code, logic, problem solving and project development.

Brassavola students have had the opportunity to represent the school in national Robotics competitions, where they have achieved podium finishes.
Competition is an extension of the learning process: students must explain their ideas, work under pressure, adapt their solutions and demonstrate that what they built can perform outside the classroom.
