Opening of the 2026 celebrations
Brassavola opened Independence Month
On September 1, we began our Independence Month celebrations with a civic gathering that brought our school community together and also marked the 46th anniversary of Brassavola Bilingual School.
During the ceremony, the flags of the Central American countries were raised and the Independence sashes were presented to representatives from Preschool, Elementary and Secondary School. We also celebrated the 46th birthday of Brassavola Bilingual School: as one big family we cut the cake and shared together as the whole Brassavola community. With this symbolic moment, Brassavola begins a full month of activities that strengthen civic values, respect for our history and pride in being Honduran.

A morning of identity, civic spirit and joy
Four moments marked the beginning of a month celebrating our Honduran and Central American identity and the history of Brassavola.
Independence representatives
Sashes were presented to representatives from Preschool, Elementary and Secondary School, formally beginning their participation in the celebrations.
Brassavola 46th anniversary
That same day, we also celebrated 46 years of Brassavola Bilingual School. We cut the cake and shared together as one big family with the entire Brassavola community.
A month to celebrate
Throughout September, we will continue with civic, cultural and educational activities that connect our students with the history and values of Honduras.

This September 1st was doubly special for our school community: in addition to opening Independence Month, we celebrated the 46th birthday of Brassavola Bilingual School.
As one big family, we cut the cake and shared this meaningful moment together. The celebration reflected the joy, unity and strong sense of belonging that define the Brassavola community.
