ABSH Events and Competitions
Brassavola is a proud member of the Association of Bilingual Schools of Honduras (ABSH). This association provides our students with opportunities to participate in national events and competitions such as the National Science Fair, the Knowledge Bowl, Model United Nations, and others. Students prepare and/or qualify for these events over the course of the school year, and enjoy the opportunity to travel to other bilingual schools in Honduras.
The Gator Band
Band Director: Eduardo Raudales
Brassavola is proud to have one of the best and most talented marching bands in La Ceiba - The Gator Band! Every September, the Gator Band proudly leads our school down San Isidro Avenue during the Independence Day Parade. Throughout the school year, students are involved in various individual and group concerts and competitions. In February of 2017, our very own saxophonist Pablo Garcia won first place in the Voice and Instrument category at the La Ceiba Performing Arts Competition hosted by UTH.

Honor Society
The Brassavola Honor Society is focused on character, scholarship, leadership, and service both on-campus and in the La Ceiba community. This dedicated group of students leads campus initiatives that promote the human values of social responsibility, fairness, respect, honesty, and citizenship. These activities include an annual Christmas food drive and a book drive for citizens and schools in our local community.
Cheerleaders
Cheer Sponsor: Dunia Castillo
The Brassavola Cheerleaders embody the Gator team spirit. They work and practice together throughout the year to choreograph cheers, acrobatic routines, and dances that they perform live at school events. All are welcome to join the team!

Actos Civicos
Our students take part in monthly Civic Acts that raise their awareness and sense of responsibility as citizens of their country and of the world. Students create art in its various forms to celebrate holidays such as Honduran Independence Day, Acción de Gracias, Earth Day, and Teacher's Day.
